As
part of our parish
outreach program, we participate monthly in the
St.
Anthony Church Soup Kitchen. On the third Wednesday of each month, volunteers from St.
Philip plan, prepare, serve, and provide clean-up for more than 200 persons
who come to be fed physically and spiritually. Serving hours are from
11:30am – 12:20pm, however our volunteers arrive around 8:30am to begin
preparation. It is usually around 1:15pm when they leave. If you have
limited time to serve in a ministry and feel a calling to serve the poor,
we’d love to have you come with us. Call 985-2275 for more specifics.
