Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

The purpose of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is to unite the parents and teachers of the Parish School, to acquaint parents with school operations, to assist with school activities, and to provide financial support. They meet 4 times a year.
Their primary fundraisers include: The PTO Card Party (held annually in November to benefit the teachers and students in the school), kuchen sales, Box Tops collection, Hacienda night, spirit-ware, and the Chinese Auction on Fun Day. The money raised is utilized primarily for the teachers and the students in the school. The PTO gives each teacher start-up money prior to the beginning of the school year. In addition, the PTO provides money for additional learning materials, playground equipment, field trips, etc. that are not included in the school budget.
